I’m so happy to be sharing a sweet little baby quilt with you all today. I made it with a new fabric line called Gnomes & Garden. Gnomes & Garden was designed by Shawn Wallace for Riley Blake Designs. This cute fabric line includes happy gnomes, cute bunnies, flamingos and a fun spotty dotty print. It’s all just adorable!
I’ve had a quilt pattern that I’ve wanted to share for a while now and this sweet line seemed just perfect to introduce it. The Pinwheel Baby Quilt is available as free PDF tutorial by clicking here.
I love how the well the Gnomes & Garden prints look with the Denim Swiss Dot (blue) fabric. It provides such a pretty contrast and really sets off the pastel colours of each print.
I quilted this baby quilt myself using a simple 1″ grid and love how it turned out. Also… those little gnomes with their smiley faces get me every time!
For backing I used Peony Kisses fabric from Riley Blake Designs basics range. I think it compliments the quilt perfectly!
If you love Gnomes & Garden fabric make sure you ask for it at your local quilt shop! If you’re looking for Gnomes & Garden inspiration make sure you’re following the Riley Blake blog and their Instagram or Facebook page.
