And…Some More New Patterns

Thanks to every­one for their kind words of sup­port and pur­chases earli­er this week.   As prom­ised, I’m back to share the final three with you.

This is Alice.  Alice is based on a tra­di­tion­al quilt block but includes updated piecing meth­ods that are fast and fun and, a mod­ern twist on the fab­ric place­ment with print and low volume back­grounds for the blocks!   Alice is also fat quarter friendly and is per­fect for using up some of the fab­rics you have in your stash.

The sample quilt for the Alice quilt was made with  Sherri & Chelsi’s new fab­ric col­lec­tion Desert Bloom.  Anoth­er one I fell in love with from the moment I saw it not least because itmatches my liv­ing room decor per­fectly!     The Desert Bloom fab­ric range will be avail­able in stores Novem­ber 2016.

I also had the pleas­ure of design­ing and sew­ing the Spring quilt with Shan­non Gill­man Orr’s debut col­lec­tion, Acre­age.   There’s pink and teal so you know it’s a com­plete favour­ite around here!

Spring was inspired by tra­di­tion­al medal­lion quilts and a love of spring flowers.  The centre block is a huge 30 inches and the whole quilt is made using simple piecing tech­nics that make sew­ing it simple and fast.   I think it would look just amaz­ing in Anna Maria Horner or any medi­um scale fab­rics you have in your stash.

Last but def­in­itely not least is the Sweet Stars quilt.    Sweet Stars is also fat quarterly friendly  and is suit­able for every level of quilter.  The blocks aren’t too small which means there is no teeny piecing which can get a little tricky!    All of my pat­terns come with full col­our dia­grams that are easy to fol­low and loads of instruc­tions to help you through every step.

Sweet Stars was made with my friend Sedef from Down Grapev­ine Lane’s debut line for Riley Blake, Sweet Orch­ard.    It’s such a sweet fab­ric col­lec­tion and it will be arriv­ing in stores in August.    Sweet Stars Quilt Kits will be avail­able through the Fat Quarter Shop once the fab­ric hits stores and there will also be a sew along com­ing up!
